As part of the process of getting a visa/residence permit in Spain, collecting all the documents required is one of the steps that usually take long as applicants must ask for these documents to their home country administrations, banks or any other entities that may issue them.
Sometimes we face some problems and obstacles that make the process slower. Today we would like to ask for your collaboration and make some clarifications on some points that make things easier.
1 – Not getting every page with your Profile, Travel Stamps, and Visas Certified of your passport
The Spanish Administration/Embassy/Consulate officers must check all your previous travel history, meaning that you must submit a copy of every single page of your passport (whether you received a non-Schengen Region Visa or a Schengen Region Visa previously) as all the stamps help to confirm when you entered a specific country in a specific period of time.
When we ask for a “full copy of your passport”/ “complete copy of your passport” / “whole copy of your passport”. We, please need you to include a full HQ scanned copy from the front cover until the back cover of it, this means, we need all the pages from your passport.

2 – Not getting scanned version of documents
The Spanish Administration/Embassy/Consulate requires submission of HQ documents rather than pictures taken by a smartphone. It is extremely important to be accurate and prepare all the documents scanned in order not to receive a “Inadmisión a trámite” from the administration as they are not considering the documents appropriate (sometimes fingers appear, sometimes shadows appear, and important information is illegible…)
We always recommend you and remember you this during the process, sometimes we know it is not possible to get a better version of our documents, however, we endeavor you to try make the best efforts to get them!
