Due to the current situation with COVID 19 in the world, Madrid has been one of the most affected cities. Therefore, offices and companies have had to take preventive measures to ensure the health of their workers and clients.
We share with you the updated information we have:
Madrid Central Civil Registry (Registro Central de Madrid):
Plaza de Jacinto Benavente: Not allowing people in person.
Calle Montera: We do not have updated information on certificate withdrawal care by appointment, but we suggest that you request it online.
Single Civil Registry of Madrid (Pradillo Street)
While the alert for COVID 19 lasts, this registry will only perform the following functions:
- Celebration of already mentioned marriages and only the spouses and TWO witnesses will be admitted to the room.
- Birth registration within the term (first 30 days after birth).
- Signing of burial licenses.
NOTE: The last day of the nationality oath was last Friday, March 13, 2020.
Asylum and Refuge Office (Calle Pradillo)
Starting Monday, March 16 (and indefinitely), customer service will be suspended.
Legalization windows of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs
They are closed until further notice.
The service of legalizations by postal mail will continue operating. For the presentation of legalizations by certified mail it is essential to comply with the following requirements:
1- Sending by post of the document whose legalization is requested to the Legalization Services, General Sub-Directorate of Consular Legal Affairs, Calle Pechuán 1, Postal code 28002 – Madrid.
2- Accompany the shipment of a prepaid return envelope, from Postal Express, with the prescribed destination address, and will also contain an indication of the recipient’s name and contact telephone number.
Immigration offices in Madrid: Calle Silva and Leganés.
They will be closed for face-to-face care starting Monday, March 16. If you had an appointment assigned for the next few weeks, the Government Delegation will contact you to assign a new appointment when possible.
Aluche Police Station:
THEY ARE ONLY ATTENDING FOOTPRINT PROCEDURES BY APPOINTMENT. Additionally, they are only letting the interested party pass (the accompaniment of lawyers or relatives will not be allowed)
